PHILLY CO-OP SUMMIT & PACA ANNUAL MEETING
November 5 @ 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm,  Rad Dish Co-op Cafe, 1301 Cecil B. Moore Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19122

Join members of cooperatives from across the region for the Philly Co-op Summit and PACA Annual Meeting! The evening includes complimentary dinner and drinks, lightning talks on co-op innovation, and the announcement of the Philly co-op and cooperator of the year awards.

HACKENSACK DREAMING: NANCY COHEN IN THE GALLERY
November 5 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128

Tucked between a Walmart, outlet malls, and a wastewater treatment plant, yet within view of the New York City skyline, the wetlands of the Hackensack River spoke to artist Nancy Cohen as an “isolated puddle of the organic in a deluge of the human-made.” Cohen’s installation transforms the gallery, creating its own environment and evoking.

NATURE PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
November 5 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128

Learn about our Nature Preschool for children ages 3 – 5. Visit the classrooms, meet the preschool director, learn about our curriculum and schedule, ask questions, and pick up a registration packet. Children welcome – we’ll have activities to engage them.

Fall Art Star Craft Bazaar
November 7-8, 11 AM to 5 PM; 6825 Norwitch Dr, Philadelphia PA.

The Fall Art Star Craft Bazaar is an indoor retail/art craft show that is organized by Philadelphia’s premier indie craft shop and gallery, Art Star. Over 70 local and national artists have been chosen to set up shop and sell their wares at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum. More info. 

2015 Philly Bike Expo
November 7 – 8th, 10 AM – 4 PM. 1101 Arch St, Phila PA 19107.

The 6th Annual Philly Bike Expo returns to the PA Convention Center on November 7th & 8th! The Philly Bike Expo continues to expand its scope, with an ever increasing array of offerings to interest, inspire, and inform bicycle aficionados, weekend enthusiasts and those merely curious about the fun and fitness awaiting on two wheels. WALKING THE RIVER TRAIL: NATURE & HISTORY BY THE SCHUYLKILL RIVER

The Schuylkill Center sits perched atop and connected to the Schuylkill River Trail, just voted the number one urban trail in the country by USA Today. In a lovely walk between the Shawmont and Miquon train stations, director Mike Weilbacher introduces you to birds, creeks, trees, flowers, weeds, rocks and even more!

RECREATE WORKSHOP: LANGUAGE AND IMAGE THROUGH STENCIL MAKING
November 8 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, The Resource Exchange, 1701 N. 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19122

Join the local artists Anthony C and Karen M for a day focused around street art and stencil making. Learn about the history of street art and it’s relationship to politics from this collaborative artistic team with decades of experience in the field.
