Fo-Turkey & Loose Zebras Week: Events November 23 – 29, 2015

Break out the seitan and stuffing – it’s time for Thanksgiving already.

Whether you’re sticking around Philadelphia for Thanksgiving or fleeing town, there’s plenty to do before and after the holiday. Here’s what to do around town.

Week Events November 23 – 26th:

  • hg Run Club : how many laps can you do? Join Honeygrow & Philadelphia Runner for a special run. Tuesday, November 24th at 6:30 PM; 1601 Sansom St. More info.
  • Country Delight: Before Thanksgiving eve, there was Pub & Kitchen’s annual Tuesday evening hoedown. Enjoy beer, whiskey & country tunes. Tuesday, November 24th at 6 PM; 1946 Lombard St, Philadelphia. More info.

Weekend Events November 27 – 29th:

  • Fourth Friday: Shop Small businesses on 4th street and get bonuses: discounts, beer & more. Stop by our friends at Community Bikes & Boards (712 S 4th St) and get 15% off on bike tools and storage supplies – and learn how to fix a flat. South Street Headhouse District (on 4th); Friday November 27th from 11 AM – 9 PM, More info.
  • Full Moon Bike Ride: Howl at the full moon & ride your bike throughout the city with friends. Friday, November 27th at 8 PM; Meet at Art Museum, more deets.
  • Annual Holiday Open House & Fundraiser: In this season of giving, with your help, join Philadelphia Brewing Company raise money for Four the Paws, Inc., Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia and City of Elderly Love. Donate  money, pet food, blankets and pet supplies too. Saturday, November 28th at 2 PM – 5 PM; 2440 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19125
