Dine out on May 22nd and help out a Philly environmental nonprofit, too!
Many of our favorite restaurants are supporting local farms, reducing waste & chemicals and using smarter options for the city’s footprint. Dine Out for the Environment is the first city-wide restaurant event, showcasing our city’s most sustainable dining options.
How can you join in on the action?
Simply eat at a participating restaurant on May 22nd, and 15% of the proceeds will go to the Clean Air Council.

Dine Out for the Environment highlights the Mildred as its headquarters, mentioning its cooking in cast iron, using basics for cleaning and whole-animal butchering done in-house. Also, they use bowls from the fabulous Bella Vista Fleisher Art Memorial (where I’ve previously taken a photography class!).
