Camphill Kimberton Summer Music Fest “Hootenanny”

Looking for some entertainment on Saturday?

Enjoy local music on a beautiful Chester County farm at Saturday’s (7/16) Hootenanny at Camphill Kimberton.  Between 3-10 PM, The Hootenanny the festival of local, organic food and feature musicians including : Cowmuddy, Elisha Kane, Mostly Maybe, Dirk Quinn, Tara and Friends, Aimee Wilson and the Factorye, and The Turnips.

In order to celebrate local culture, patrons are encouraged to bring their own reusable plates and utensils (and will receive a reduced meal price)!  Additionally, the festival will include local food and craft vendors, games, raffles, and a contra dance. This one’s good for the kids, too: children will have the chance to spot cows, chickens, sheep and more on the working dairy and vegetable farm.

BYO: Blankets and/or lawn chairs.

Proceeds from the Hootenanny will go to Camphill Kimberton, a dynamic farming and handcrafting community that includes adults with developmental disabilities. This non-profit organization has provided meaningful work and a supportive environment since it was founded in 1972.  Located on 432 acres of farm, gardens and woodlands in Chester County, Camphill Kimberton is also a local center for culture and a model for sound ecological living.
