Tune into GPB on WHYY Radio Times to Kick Off Earth Week!

Here’s how to help your Monday Morning go by a little faster: We’ll be on WHYY’s Radio Times during Hour 2 today (11:00 AM) along with Grist’s Umbra Fisk. Tune in and call in with your sustainability questions.

Here’s the preview from Radio Times:

How to reduce your carbon footprint & live sustainably

Guests: ‘Umbra Fisk’ and Julie Hancher

Climate change is one of the most pressing problems facing the globe, and policy-makers are working hard to grapple with its devastating effects that are being felt in communities everywhere, including here in the US. Many people, however, feel powerless in terms of how they can make an impact on reducing CO2 emissions or playing a role in the policy process. Today on Radio Times, we’ll focus on how individuals can reduce their footprint and live more sustainably. Guest host Mary Cummings-Jordan speaks with Grist’s “Ask Umbra” columnist, and JULIE HANCHER, editor of Green Philly Blog.

Julie Hancher

Julie Hancher is Editor-in-Chief of Green Philly, sharing her expertise of all things sustainable in the city of brotherly love. She enjoys long walks in the park with local beer and greening her travels, cooking & cat, Sir Floofus Drake.
