On Wednesday night, we hosted our Holiday Happy Hour with 50 guests in WeWork. We also shared two exciting updates. (You get many surprises as a Green Philly Event attendee…)

HUGE NEWS! We’re ecstatic to share that we’ve received a 24-month grant from the William Penn Foundation in order to elevate information about water quality as well as Philadelphia’s stormwater, waterfront access, and recreation through media posts and events.

We’re going to be doing the exact thing we’ve been doing – making sustainability easy, accessible and low-cost to the region – while discussing how water is important to each of us.

What does that mean for you?

We’re going to be talking about water… a LOT!
We’re going to continue to be the one-stop-shop for sustainability, sharing easy, accessible and low-cost resources.
We’re going to be hosting the same events you love, with more creativity and new topics.
We’ll stay transparent! All projects and articles related to William Penn funding will be branded as such with logos and/or a reference. (And all our decisions are independently ours.)

Sharing the big news at our Holiday Happy Hour on Wednesday night

We’re Moving!

Another exciting update: we’ve outgrown our space at WeWork and are moving to the Spring Arts area to 915 Spring Garden. The building is formerly the Reading Railroad offices and has been repurposed over the years into a textile factory, print shop, warehouse, and studio space.

Now, we’ll be in this reimagined space to do our own creative work! The space will allow us to work better as a team and gives us room to grow.
