Friday Roundup: Traveling Vegans like Philly Food & A Few Farm Farm Fest Photos

Hope you had a chance to prepare for a sustainable Easter this weekend!  Here’s what you missed this week on the green front, as well some Photo Friday fun below:

• A vagabond vegan rates Philly’s own Vedge as one of her favorite vegan restaurants on her no-animal products cross-country trek.
• Today’s optimism: We’re still on track for an apocalypse & global economic collapse. Woohoo!
• Temple’s sustainability group Fox Net Impact & Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute’s hosting a sustainability in transportation conference on Monday, April 9th. “From Point A to Point Green: Reducing Cost & Carbon through Transport,” boasts speakers from the Phila Bicycle Coalition, SEPTA, PhillyCarShare & Chevy, to name a few.
• We stopped by the Philly Farm & Food Fest on Sunday to fill our locavore hearts.  Here’s some pics (the full photo experience is on our Facebook Page):

Also, we went to the Wheeler Del Torro pop-up this past weekend. It was an interesting mix of vegetarians (and non) sharing their experiences & dining on a delightful speciality menu.  Did I mention the Dom Perignon was also flowing freely?
