The Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management’s ReadyPhiladelphia alert system, which tells you about Refinery dangers too, now has stepped up its game to travel alerts.

How does it work? You can sign up for alerts on the website and get them via text, email or App push notifications. Choose whether you want the info 24-hours a day, or 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends.
