Where to Donate Coats this Winter in Philadelphia

Even though this December has begun unseasonably warm, winter is coming. Whether you’re cleaning out your closet or find an amazing deal, consider donating a winter coat this season.

Where to Donate Winter Coats in Philadelphia for 2015 – 2016:

  • Feel the Warmth: Donate new or clean, gently used children’s coats to this local Philadelphia organization. Donations accepted through January 16, 2016. Just email linda@feelthewarmth.org to organize a drive or find a local drop-off spot.
  • One Warm Coat‘s website includes a database of where to donate coats near you, including timeframe and organizers. Donate a gently-used coat through 1/2/2016 to the Free Library location at 3501 Midvale Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – just check the website for times/other locations.
  • Cradle to Crayons accepts new or gently-used coats throughout the Philadelphia area, including at Spasso in Media (December 20th from 10 AM – 1 PM); winter gear at Exton and Plymouth Meeting Boscov’s through December 21st and Neshaminy Mall Winter Coat Drive through December 21st. Find additional drives & locations on Cradle to Crayons’ website.
  • Career Wardrobe accepts new/gently-used items to help women find self-sufficiency and independence. Check their guidelines & donate to 1822 Spring Garden or another location.
