#ThisWeekI: My turn

Once the summertime hits, it’s so easy to get inspired to move your booty outside and take on a more positive mood.

Editing and writing about sustainability everyday becomes a part of my routine, so I try to consciously do more than the three Rs and practice what I preach.

During a (self guided) walking tour in Seattle

It’s my turn to spill what I did and inspire a few more; so here it goes:

#ThisWeekI:

  1. Walked, rode my bike and took public transit instead of taking cabs.
  2. Shared a home-cooked CSA meal with a friend (complete with leftovers to send home!) so veggies wouldn’t be wasted.
  3. Took time to sit outside and eat breakfast at the coffee shop instead of taking our order to go = less waste by using store ceramic plates & cups.

My goal for this week is to volunteer, as I want to kick up my inspiring game. Any suggestions for local efforts?

Readers, what have you done this week? What are your goals?
