Quick Tip: Economy Down, Cheap Prices – Thinking SUV?

With the economy in decline and auto sales down, car prices have dropped – increasing appeal for buyers.  SUVs account for approximately one of every four vehicles sold today.  Their popularity among Americans is note-worthy.

However, the SUV’s environmental impact is detrimental … SUVs use 33% more gas per mile than the average car today, and emit as much as 3’x the pollution.

If you’re in the market for a new car, choose a hybrid or a smaller, more fuel-efficient vehicle.  Check out this guide from the EPA on how to choose a greener car.
