Get out! Friday Quickie

The weather is warming up, and there’s a great reason to be excited.

Americans spend 90% of their time indoors.

Whether you get on a bike, go for a run or simply have wine in the park, just get outside. You’ll save energy and boost your mood, too!

The problem is also pertinent to getting your children outside, too! Children are spending 50% as much time outdoors as they did 20 years ago (Or shall we say, when we were kids...). Outdoor time helps children grow lean and strong, enhances imaginations, decreases aggression and boosts classroom performance. Plus, outdoor time before age 11 increases an interest in the environment. Take the pledge and help get your kids & yourself outside.
