Where to get local, fresh produce

Looking for better ways to get local food? Philly is teeming with farmers markets that offer fresh, local food of all kinds at affordable prices. We’ve compiled a list so you can find a farmer’s market near you, any day of the week.

Year-round Philly Farmers Markets:

  • Chestnut Hill Farmers Market
    • Germantown Avenue and Winston Lane
    • Hours: Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Clark Park Farmers Market
    • 43rd Street and Baltimore Avenue
    • Hours: Saturdays 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. (9:30-10 reserved for seniors and immunocompromised shoppers)
    • Also open seasonally from May – November, every first and third Thursday from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • East Falls Farmers Market
    • 4100 Ridge Avenue
    • Hours: Saturdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Fairmount Farmers Market
    • 22nd Street and Fairmount Avenue
    • Hours: Thursdays 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. (3-3:30 reserved for seniors and immunocompromised shoppers)
  • Fitler Square Farmers Market
    • 23rd and Pine Streets
    • Hours: Saturdays 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (9-9:30 reserved for seniors and immunocompromised shoppers)
  • Headhouse Farmers Market
    • 2nd and Lombard Streets
    • Hours: Sundays 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (9:30-10 reserved for seniors and immunocompromised shoppers)
  • Jefferson Farmers Market
    • 10th and Chestnut Streets
    • Hours: Thursdays 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Rittenhouse Farmers Market
    • 18th and Walnut Streets (in Rittenhouse Square)
    • Hours: Saturdays 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    • Also open seasonally from May – November on Tuesdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
