DESCRIPTION:Join Weavers Way Co-op and the Clean Energy Co-op as we celebrate how grassroots investment is growing renewable energy at the Clean Energy Co-op’s latest solar project at the Weavers Way Mercantile building.  The solar array at Weavers Way Mercantile is the eighth installation of the Clean Ener­gy Co-op\, which uses an award-winning method of developing solar projects using pooled investments by its members. This pooled investment structure allows individuals to directly in­crease the amount of renewable energy in­stalled in Pennsylvania. \nAt the event kids can run a solar powered shoebox size car and enjoy the bubbles produced from a portable solar panel.  Short comments from groups and people integral to getting this project done will include Weaver’s Way\, Clean Energy Co-op\, Ken Weinstein\, and Solar States.
