DESCRIPTION:A BOTANICAL RECITAL PERFORMED FOR ONE TREE\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSave The Meadows is bringing ARBORLOGUES to FDR Park for its Philadelphia premiere!\n\nARBORLOGUES is a one-person play where you are the performer and a single tree is your audience. ARBORLOGUES has been performed across the world\, for a wide variety of trees. The 15 minute play takes place within a specially built red curtain theater that hangs from a specifically chosen tree. After receiving the bound script from the stage manager you are left alone with your arboreal audience. The script leads you through a series of stories\, prompts\, and actions related to this tree\, this land\, and yourself.\n\nRead more about this immersive theater piece in The New York Times.\n\nWhat to know:\n\n 	The performances will continue rain or shine.\n 	There is a ten-minute walk between the parking location and the site of the performance. The ground can be uneven and sometimes muddy. Please wear shoes you are comfortable hiking in. Please arrive 15 minutes early\, so an usher can show you the way to the ‘theater’.\n 	Since this play can only be experienced by a very limited amount of people\, please cancel your reservation if you are not able to attend\, so that your slot can be offered to someone else.\n 	If you are a student or low-income\, you can use promo code 21TREE for a reduced-price ticket.\n 	All proceeds from this event benefit Save The Meadows\, the neighbor-led campaign to stop the destruction of South Philly’s only wild urban green space.
