DESCRIPTION:Arch Enemy Arts is honored to present COMMON WATERS: One Ocean Many Voices\, a charitable exhibition on view now through July 12\, 2026 at Arch Enemy Arts\, located at 109 Arch Street in Old City Philadelphia. Timed with June\, which is globally observed as World Ocean Month\, the exhibition brings together 60 international contemporary artists in support of PangeaSeed\, the nation’s only arts-based ocean advocacy organization.\n\nA portion of exhibition proceeds\, along with visitor donations and raffles\, will directly benefit PangeaSeed’s ocean conservation initiatives. Guests are invited to visit the gallery in person to view the artwork\, learn more about PangeaSeed\, and ocean literacy. Artwork is also available to view and purchase online to support the fundraiser at www.archenemyarts.com/commonwaters2026.\n\nPresented in Philadelphia\, the birthplace of the United States\, during the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding\, COMMON WATERS encourages viewers to look beyond borders and consider the ocean as a shared and sustaining force. Artists were invited to create original works inspired by the ocean\, its ecosystems\, and humanity’s impact on the sea\, drawing from themes of climate\, biodiversity\, conservation\, and global interconnectedness.\n\nAcross drawing\, painting\, sculpture\, and mixed media\, the exhibition offers a wide-ranging and imaginative look at the sea. ARBORLOGUES has been performed across the world\, for a wide variety of trees. The 15 minute play takes place within a specially built red curtain theater that hangs from a specifically chosen tree. After receiving the bound script from the stage manager you are left alone with your arboreal audience. The script leads you through a series of stories\, prompts\, and actions related to this tree\, this land\, and yourself.\n\nRead more about this immersive theater piece in The New York Times.\n\nWhat to know:\n\n 	The performances will continue rain or shine.\n 	There is a ten-minute walk between the parking location and the site of the performance. The ground can be uneven and sometimes muddy. Please wear shoes you are comfortable hiking in. DESCRIPTION:Up Next! is a free monthly open jam session providing a platform for Philly’s creative youth to learn\, perform\, collaborate\, and grow. Every second Saturday\, The Lounge at World Cafe Live offers an all-ages\, alcohol-free environment\, showcasing our city’s up-and-coming talent while building community across the local music scene. A rotating youth ensemble will serve as the house band\, kicking off the afternoon with a featured set including hand-selected guest artists before opening up the jam. \nProduced in collaboration between World Cafe Live and The School District of Philadelphia’s MIC’d Up initiative\, Up Next! aims to engage students in music industry careers both on and off the stage. Students will work alongside the WCL team to curate\, promote\, facilitate\, and document each session\, with opportunities in booking\, marketing\, videography\, photography\, artist relations\, hosting\, audio engineering\, backline management\, and other elements of live event production. A team of professional musicians and educators will also be on-site to facilitate performances. This program is supported by Save The Music Foundation.
