SUMMARY:Ray’s Reusables Refresh Event!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our glow up event! Ray’s Reusables\, your favorite neighborhood eco-shop\, is celebrating all things sustainability and 4 years of being in operation! Mark your calendar for Saturday\, May 30th\, 10AM-6PM. \n\n\n\nThis event will feature our new programs\, new branding\, and new store layout! You can expect the launch of our all-in-one niche recycling\, composting\, and refill hub to satisfy all of your green dreams! Visit us at 935 N 2nd St\, Philadelphia\, PA 19123! \n\n\n\nTo make this event even more special\, we will also feature local + sustainable vendors and partners throughout the day! \n\n\n\n(10-2 pm) KC Co. makes bold\, joy-filled accessories for anyone who likes their style a little fun or funky. Think bold and earthy colors\, unexpected combinations\, geometric forms\, and thoughtful details—all influenced by a background in graphic design. Each piece is intentional and slow-made in small batches right here in NoLibs. \n\n\n\n(1-4 pm) Juicebox Workshop uses salvaged textiles\, found objects\, pigments and thread\, artist Julie Woodard creates impressionistic landscapes\, multimedia installations\, functional sculptures\, and wearable pieces that convey her passion for nature\, memory\, and creative reuse. \n\n\n\n(12-sellout) 30 Percent Patisserie is a play on the common bubble tea question “how sweet would you like it? 100%\, 50%\, 30%”\, 30 Percent Patisserie believes that when desserts are too sweet\, you lose the ability to appreciate the true flavors of the ingredients. Trained in pastry in Japan\, Hsin-Hui creates sweets representing the ‘less sweet’ philosophy from bubble tea shops. \n\n\n\nPLUS: The first 30 visitors who make a purchase will receive a sample of our house-made Ray’s Originals soap in a limited-edition scent… Ray of Sunshine! \n\n\n\nOur goal is to make eco-friendly living as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. This event showcases the thriving community of people and businesses working in Philadelphia to push sustainability forward.
