Calling all garden and horticultural enthusiasts! Join WHYY as we explore how growing native plants helps the environment, is easy to do and benefits wildlife and people too. Be a part of the live studio audience as Marty Moss-Coane and her guest, renowned ecologist Doug Tallamy , encourage us to create and connect corridors of native habitats as we design of our outdoor spaces. Learn about the important role we all play in helping to nurture and restore our ecosystem
The event will also feature several vendors showcasing displays from their horticultural organizations that highlight native plants.
The event will offer drinks, light refreshments and a botanical themed souvenir, and on site plants sales!
