Join artist JJ Tiziou & fellow Walk Around Philadelphia perimeter-walkers to celebrate after the completion of this year’s Winter Walk: ~100+ miles around the entire city border!
This informal indoor/outdoor gathering at The Cedar Works in West Philly will feature a campfire, refreshments, and a running projection of images from the city’s furthest margins.
We’ll gather from 4-6pm for festivities including a campfire, drink and treats, and a running projection of images from recent segments.
Walk Around Philadelphia creates cultural events that bring people together in shared experiences that connect them to their own bodies, their neighbors, and the landscape of Philadelphia. The ~100+ mile walk around the entire city border happens twice a year in February & September, with other programs throughout the year.
