Dire wolves to mastodons, giant sloths to saber-tooth cats, the mammals that went extinct during the Ice Ages are now the stuff of legend. What were they really like? Join us for hands-on, Ice Age-themed art activities, scavenger hunts of our museum, and demonstrations that will teach you more about this fascinating period of Earth’s history.
The event runs from noon to 4 and activities will be happening in our lecture hall and museum all afternoon, so come anytime! Activities are geared toward children 6 to 12, but all ages can enjoy this event. Cost is free; for those who would like to donate to attend, we suggest $10 for adults and $5 for children. Preregistration is NOT required so feel free to come even if ticket sales have ended.
