On Thursday, May 18, join Sandra Postel and the Academy of Natural Sciences for a Town Square on freshwater issues.
The 2017 Academy Town Square series of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University presents a talk and discussion by Sandra Postel, a freshwater fellow at National Geographic and the co-creator of Change the Course, a national freshwater conservation and restoration campaign. Postel will discuss how she’s spent over 25 years educating others on the geography of water stress and its implications for the environment. Her lecture will address the “big picture” issues surrounding water, such as the effects of climate change on water supply, groundwater depletion, water wars, and conservation. Following her discussion, ask Postel your most pressing questions about water.
