Do you want cleaner streets and a healthier future for our Philly residents? Join us outside of City Hall to show your support for a citywide ban of single-use plastic bags!
Philadelphians use over 865 million plastic bags each year. Plastic bags are used for an average of 12 minutes before they are dumped in our trash and in our streets.
While it may seem convenient, plastic litters our city and negatively impacts our air and water, causing a wide range of health issues. Plastic bags cost us, both when we check out at the grocery store and when we pay our taxes for the city to clean up all of the trash around us.
Let’s show City Council that we want reusable bags instead of plastic. Together we can rally for a cleaner, healthier, reusable Philadelphia!
