LOVE Your Park Fall Service Day Volunteer Registration Now Open

PHILADELPHIA – October 5, 2017 – Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation are excited to announce that volunteer registration is now open for the annual LOVE Your Park Fall Service Day on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Together we are issuing a call for 2,000 volunteers to help clean, green, and celebrate Philadelphia’s parks!

Spend a few hours getting out, giving back, and getting to know your neighbors on this citywide park volunteer day. Over 85 Park Friends Groups across Philadelphia are hosting fall clean-ups, and they need your help to plant trees and flowers, collect leaves for compost, clean up trash and litter, and more, as we work together to prepare our public green spaces for the coming winter weather.
