The Random Tea Room has joined forces with One Art Community Center to share with you the Communi-Tea: Music & Marketplace Series!
Since 2012, the Random Tea Room has been the host of the “Random Tea Sessions” – a video series where local musicians would take over the shop to create a music video. Commuini-Tea builds on the intimate behind-the-scenes vibe of the Random Tea Sessions and provides a unique multi-dimensional experience. This is not your average concert but a chance to be part of an adventure!
Attendees of this event are asked to select a time to start their “Communi-Tea Journey” where they are guided through several experiences.
Ticket price includes:
-A Communi-Tea journey with a One Art garden tour, two live musical performances and closing jam session
-An incredible local vendor market
-A custom reusable Communi-Tea cup with lid
-A bottomless cup of One ArTea (a special Random Tea Room blend brewed with plants from the Oasis Garden at the One Art Community Center!)
-A “shell” of Jaya Kava Kava
Depending upon the selected time slot for the “Communi-Tea Journey”, attendees will be moving throughout the vendor spaces before and/or after their guided experiences. Delicious eats will be available from the One Love Cafe as well as treats available from several of our awesome vendors.
So far, the soulful Miss Talie is our confirmed musical guest. See our Facebook and website for additional musical acts! The event will take place at the One Art Community Center from 4pm – 8pm and will close with a very organic and dynamic improvisational performance between the two musical acts and the audience starting at 7:30pm.
Click the ticketing link to reserve your Communi-tea Journey time with your ticket today and come early/stay after to explore the local vendor market! (Available times are 4:30pm, 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm)
Lastly, to attend an event at One Art is to join this community; aiding in the coverage of house expenses is a part of being in community. All guests are required to become members of the One Art Community Center, which you can do before arriving or on-site (a weeklong membership is just $3)
