Join us for this special evening program and learn all about birds and bats and their many important roles in nature. We will hike the freshwater lagoons to look for insect-eating and wading birds. Then we’ll walk the woodline to find our resident bats and listen for Eastern Screech Owl. We will bust some common myths about bats and discuss some of the ways we can help to protect them. As the sun goes down, we will head out and try to pick up their echolocation calls with our bat detector. Children must be 12 and older to participate.
