A new shop opens this month in Building Bok: Baby Tooth, a collection of works by Philly artists and makers, including jewelry, clothing, ceramics, records, and more.
Baby Tooth is curated by House Cat (Zissel Aronow), organizer of the Feminist Flea Market & Craft Fair, which has hosted 500+ vendors and given ~$60,000 to local organizations since its start in 2018. While Feminist Flea has happened a few times per year, you can shop at Baby Tooth six days a week, making it easy to support local all the time.
The shop opens its doors on Friday, September 9 with a Grand Opening party from 5-9pm at Building Bok, 821 Dudley Street. The party will feature tarot readings and photography, and the first 50 to show will get a mini cake! The shop is a collaboration with Homies Helping Homies and will have raffle bundles to help raise money for them as well. Masks required.
