In honor of Black History Month, we’re featuring work inspired by African artwork, created by 7th grade students of St. Peter’s School. Marie Darling, their teacher and Director of the Arts at the school, took the students to The Philadelphia Museum of Art to see Creative Africa, an exhibit of African art that included Kente Cloth textiles and artifacts from the Penn Museum.Their beautiful work, printed on reclaimed fabrics sourced from The Resource Exchange, will be on display in our gallery throughout February.
