7th Annual Fairmount Community Fall Cleanup

Join the Fairmount Civic Association‘s 7th annual Fall Cleanup and help beautify the neighborhood! Meet at the playground behind Eastern State Penitentiary (22nd and Brown). Sign in, get some snacks/beverages and pick up supplies, including gloves, bags, brooms, and rakes. Even if you don’t live in Fairmount you can help—cleaning up one area prevents trash from going to others, especially with the Schuylkill River here. The good folks from Circle Compost have offered to pick up bagged leaves and sticks free of charge to turn into compost at the Corinthian Gardens and volunteers will receive museum tickets courtesy of Eastern State Penitentiary.
