4 week Nature-based Playgroup

Nature-based playgroups are immersive, structured play sessions in nature, (not playgrounds) with the goal of fostering friendships, improving fine and gross motor skills, as well as emotional regulation and mental health.
This is an inclusive group and children with and without special needs are welcome to join. Every effort will be made to accommodate their needs. It’s important for children of various abilities to spend time with each other to develop friendships, empathy, and kindness towards one another.
This Nature-based Playgroup will be run by Mansi Bhagwate, MS OTR/L. She is a pediatric Occupational Therapist and founder of Make your Mark Occupational Therapy Services LLC, which provides nature-based and movement-based OT for children with disabilities and special needs.
This group is for children from Kindergarten to 2nd grade.
Cost: $200 for 4 weeks
Start: Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at 10:00 AM
Location: Somewhere in Wissahickon Valley Park.
